Carriage Hill Kennel was first established in 1963. It is beautifully situated in a picturesque 21- acre country setting in Finleyville, PA. Our guests often see deer, turkeys, ducks and an occasional Blue Heron at the pond during their outings.

Diane Bailey worked as a veterinary technician for many years and then worked at the kennel for seven years before purchasing it in December of 2000. Since then, many improvements and changes have taken place. Because of the experience and love of animals that we all have, Carriage Hill has become more than just a kennel - offering your pets a resort-like stay, individual play sessions, baths, grooming and so much more. Therefore, to express more of what we have to offer, our business name is changing to Carriage Hill Pet Resort.

Our staff members are not just animal lovers, but Pet CPR+ Certified team members who strive to make your pets’ stay safe and enjoyable. Play sessions with another dog, one on one time with us, treat seeking games, peanut butter Kongs, puppy ice cream treats, or catnip toys are available for your pets’ enjoyment. Our buildings are heated, or air conditioned to make their stay comfortable year-round. Our facility is clean and inspected regularly. For dogs we offer two different size enclosures which have an attached outdoor covered run. Cats have two different size, multi-level enclosures with a large picture window to view birds, ducks, deer and other wildlife that may be passing by. They can also have exercise time by the finch aviary.

When your pet comes to visit us regularly, we get to know them well and get attached to them. We know what makes them happy and try to provide those things for them. During their stay, we might observe pets who are having health or age-related problems and can discuss these issues with their owners. If your pet is new to boarding or just new to our facility, we understand that this may be stressful and try to make their stay as comfortable and stress free as possible.

We love working with animals and have pets ourselves. We love to hear how excited some dogs get when they know that they are coming here or are barking with excitement as they turn down our driveway. We love to see dogs pulling their owners up to the door and then eagerly pulling us back to see the other dogs.
